Northern Ireland Battalions   Belfast Battalion: The Belfast Battalion was established in 1890. There are over 100 companies in The Belfast Battalion, covering Belfast, Lisburn, Castlereagh, Newtownabbey and North Down      Ards Battalion: The Ards Battalion comprises 20 companies from the Newtowards, Comber amp; surrounding areas.    Londonderry Battalion: This site is still under development.    East Antrim Battalion: The East Antrim Battalion covers the Carrickfergus, Ballyclare and Larne areas.    The Coleraine and District Battalion contains 18 companies covering Coleraine to Limavady.

     Scottish Battalions”    The Highland Battalion was formed on 1st January 1999 through the mergers of the Caithness and Inverness and District Battalions. The Battalion currently has 18 companies with over 600 boys and officers.     Ayr Battalion was formed on 21st September 1886, and is the third oldest Battalion in the Boys’ Brigade movement with 14 Boys Brigade Companies    Edinburgh, Leith amp; District Battalion: The Battalion covers Edinburgh, Midlothian and East Lothian Areas. It has 34 BB Companies with 1100 boys and 300 volunteer leaders.      The Paisley and District Battalion     The Motherwell, Bellshill amp; District Battalion: The Battalion was officially formed in 1920, though its history goes back to 1905 with the 2nd, 4th, 5th and 6th Motherwell Boys Brigade Companies.   The North Ayrshire Battalion    West Lothian Battalion:  The West Lothian Battalion was formed from the amalgamation of the West Lothian and Livingston Battalions, with 19 BB companies.     Scottish Borders Battalion:  The Scottish Borders Battalion consists of 11 Boys Brigade companies from the Hawick, Langholm amp; Galashiels areas.    The Strathkelvin Battalion is located to the north-east of Glasgow in Central Scotland and comprises of B.B. Companies within parts of East Dumbarton and North Lanarkshire.
